Do you find it hard to 'switch off'? Are you feeling the need for deep rest?

 

In this workshop we guide you through tools and techniques to help your brain and body unwind. It involves some gentle movement (but less than you expect), some breathing and visualisation techniques and some lying down in wonderfully comfortable positions with time to 'be'.

​

This is a calming practice - the breathing helps switch us from the 'fight or flight' part of our nervous system ( the bit that is quite often 'on') into a more restorative state where the body can unwind and start to repair and restore.

I thought it was a lovely class  it felt very different to my usual evening class.  The way you'd set up the room set a really nice tone and I think I probably benefited a lot from this slower, gentler class.  It made a really nice change.
